Introducing the A Good Week 2012 Themes and Toolkit
Like last year’s A Good Week, we’ve suggested some themes to help channel our energies around making Good happen. We’ve got Good Ambassadors and a shiny new toolkit lined up too to give you a little Good inspiration…
So here’s what we’re particularly focusing on this A Good Week! The list is by no means exclusive – after all, you’ve shown us that Good comes in all shapes, sizes and guises! Likewise, if you feel like celebrating Consumer Power on a Friday instead of a Monday, we’re totally cool with that too – the themes are just there for inspiration really. Here goes….
Monday - Consumer Power: ethical food, fashion and products
Tuesday - Environment and Energy: conservation and renewables
Wednesday - Social Cohesion and Community: togetherness
Thursday - Happiness, Joy and Flow: mental health, work/life balance and reflection
Friday - Innovation and the Power of Entrepreneurship: organisations driving change
Saturday - Poverty and Employment: how giving work does Good
Sunday - Making Something out of Nothing: redefining ‘waste’
We’ve selected some people/organisations we admire to represent each of these daily issues and suggest a small but important way you can Do Something Good in light of them. Our Good Ambassadors won’t be revealed until the week itself though, so keep you’re eyes peeled!
